Hi,

I want to create a control from scratch (not but a wrapper around an
existing control). Does anyone know of a some reference material that would
identify what I need to do. I'm thinking about something that would identify
all the properties, events, painting, etc I should implement. Some of the
things I'm thinking about are how to draw a border, focur rectangle, etc.

The control I want to implement will work like a label or a read only text
box and it will allow me to control the selected text display color.
