Thank you in advance for any and all assistance. It is greatly appreciated.

I would like to know if there is a way to get the IP addresses on the local
machine, such as WAN IP, LAN IP and Router IP, similar to .NET in VB6? If so,
is there some place to look at code samples?

Take a look at
http://vbnet.mvps.org/code/network/getadaptersinfo-localipaddress.htm at
Randy Birch's site, and follow some of the Related Links.

Hi Michael,

As Douglas suggested, Randy Birch's vb site have many useful examples
regarding your question. Please note that reading the external IP address
must be handled using a public resource as Randy's example
(http://vbnet.mvps.org/index.html?code/internet/getpublicip.htm)
demonstrated.

Please feel free to let us know if you need further information on this
topic. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Walter Wang (wawang@online.microsoft.com, remove 'online.')

most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
