We have some interlinked Word 2000 documents which were stored on an
old Novell server. The server has now been retired and the data has
been moved to a newer Novell server with a different name.

Initial problems were as follows -
1. A document took about 5 minutes to load.
2. The links didn't work.

I knocked up a quick program to alter the path for the hyperlinks, by
changing Link.Address to a correct UNC path for the target document.
The links now work BUT the a document still takes about 5 minutes to
load. Once it loads all is OK.

Rightly or wrongly I am under the impression that the document is
still looking for *something* on the old server, but I don't know what
or how. I have looked at the document in a binary viewer and cannot
find any textual reference to the old server. The new path must be
right because the target document loads OK (once the document has
finally loaded).

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance to anyone who can help.
