Maps system for vb

Is there a map system available that will allow displaying a map in a vb app
based on a specific address?

If you knew the latitude and longitude of the address, it would help. I'd
say that's the hard bit.

Have you searched on "Visual Basic" +GIS +MapObjects? It would be a start.

Microsoft MAPPOINT is an application that allows automation so you can
work it from vb and it displays maps and routes with address searches
etc

try imageviewer activex control that can do simple map system.
