Hi all,

XP Pro SP2+, VB6 Enterprise edition, working strictly in IDE window, a
definite newbie to VB period, let alone everything else it can do !

Working with the toolbox on the left & Properties, etc., on the right side
of the screen, if I should click the Code or Form window's Maximize box,
they are fine, but ... I cannot then Restore the Form or the Code window
back to its previous sizes; I'm stuck there at maximized.

Not a huge deal, but occasionally I like to see my Form AND the code at the
same time, which is impossible maximized like that.

HOW do I Restore the windows back to their non-maximized settings so I can
view parts of both at the same time?

I know it's probably right in front of me, but danged if I can find it!
I've been having to Exit and reload VB to get the smaller size code and form
windows back; kind of a pain.

TIA

Pop`

Main Menu:: Windows -> Cascade
?

If you like working this way, you might want to checkout the SDI Development
Environment.
Main Menu:: Tools -> Options -> Advanced Tab
It is a little unnerving at first, but people who like to see 'everything'
at one time seem to adopt it. Works best with large landscapes.

Also you might like to download this tool (free)
http://www.mztools.com/v3/download.htm
It adds a few convenience features. For example, the ability to close all
windows.

D'oh! Boy, talk about a brain-block! I figured when I went back to it
today it'd be clear as a bell but instead it was still ... well, mud.

Thanks, Ralph, for pointing out what should have been obvious to me, and
for the other recommendations, too.

I think we have long established the fact that you're a "newbie" to all of
this. Nothing wrong with this of course, but reading it over and over again
is becoming tedious. Wink

I hear ya; but the few times I didn't mention it, the responses went so far
over my head, well ... . Damned if I do and damned if I don't sort of
thing.
