I have created a Visual Basic 6 program, one final feature that i wish to add
to the application is to create some sort of macro which records &
demonstrates my actions. Having recorded the macro i want to be able to
click a command button on my VB form and for the recorded demonstration to be
displayed. I need to show things like where the mouse moves to and the text
that is entered in specific fields. I know its possible to record/link
macros in applications like word/excel and powerpoint. But is it possible to
record macros in visual basic 6 alone? I am fairly new to VB6 so haven't
encountered macros in vb6 before. Many Thanks.

Here's an article for background reading. You are probably interestd in
WH_JOURNALRECORD and WH_JOURNALPLAYBACK:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnwui/html/msdn_hooks32.asp

The language of choice for implementation would be VC++ or VC, not VB6
