I am a new (68-year-old) programmer.
I want to check out my code when it is signed.
I do not have a server.
I see many referrals to SelfCert that is supposed to be part of .net.
I downloaded the Beta version of Visual Studio 2008 Express AND I already
have Visual Studio Express 2005. I am Coding in Visual Basic. .net 3.5 Beta
is loaded.
I am running Vista x86 and NOWHERE on my computer can I find SelfCert
Nowhere on the web can I download selfcert that I can find, though I find
many articles about SelfCert.
How do I create Signed Code that will be recognized on my computer only. I
do not want to spend the money on Thwate of Verisign until I have the code
ready fro sale.

Open help and lookup "Certificate Creation Tool (Makecert.exe)"
"SelfCert" is more appropriate applied to Office/VBA tools.
